City crews are working to clean up after a large watermain break flooded a busy roadway in Burlington.
It happened in the area of Lakeshore Rd. and Maple Ave. and left several inches of water covering the streets.
The area was scheduled for some maintenance work and had already been excavated when the pipe burst.
There are currently no road closures in the area but Burlington Mayor Marianne Meed Ward asked residents on Twitter to stay away during the morning commute.
