Halton police are investigating after more than $800 worth of cheese was stolen from a Burlington grocery store.
It happened at the Fortinos at 5111 New St. on April 5.
Police say two women concealed several cheese wheels and left the store “making no attempts to pay.”
The first suspect is described as roughly 30 years of age, five-foot-ten, with long brown hair. She was wearing a black jacket, black leggings, grey running shoes and carrying a black bag. The other woman is described as being 55 years of age, five-foot-eight, with long light brown hair. She was wearing a grey coat, a light blue scarf, grey jeans, black running shoes with white soles and carrying a brown purse.
