Halton police are searching for a man after a Burlington gas station was robbed at knifepoint.
Police say a man walked into the Petro Canada on Walkers Line around 4:50 p.m. Thursday.
The thief was armed with a knife and confronted the clerk. Police say the man stole cash from behind the counter before fleeing in a dark coloured Chevy Cruze, four-door hatchback.
The gas station employee was not injured during the robbery.
The suspect is described as 45 to 55 years of age, roughly five-foot-ten to six-feet tall, balding with a red beard, with an average build and hoop earrings in both ears. He was wearing a black jacket, black pants, and white Adidas running shoes.
